It is a lifelong goal of your intrepid WakePol reporter to coin a new word, so we are a little disappointed to have missed such an obvious one: Raleighing.
Step 1: Define it. Apparently, "Raleighing" is a verb that means "To completely engage one's self in the events, changes, development, direction, and excitement of Raleigh, NC, one of the most desired places to live in the US."
Step 2: Get the word out. Dana and Chris, the coiners of this word, have started a blog devoted to business and commercial news in the capital city, including a page with the definition.
Step 3: Merchandise! T-shirts, women's tracksuits, tank tops, baby dolls, boxers, and, of course, thongs are now available with the Web site's logo, although only two T-shirts promote the word as well. One says. "Do you Raleigh?" The other says simply "Raleighing."
Step 4: Keep your trademark. Don't forget what happened to the folks behind the original yo-yo and Moxie cola. Get that name trademarked and guard it vigilantly, or anyone can start making "Raleighing" thongs.
