Flu hits, Canes recall three

The flu Peter Laviolette warned about Wednesday has hit, wiping out Tim Gleason and Joe Corvo.

Bret Hedican is also out with a lower body injury, so the Canes have reinforcements arriving this afternoon from Albany.

Casey Borer, Tim Conboy and Joey Mormina will join the Canes for tonight's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Canes have placed Dennis Seidenberg, Matt Cullen and Patrick Eaves on injured reserves to make room.
