UNC coach Roy Williams expects it will be close to the June 16 deadline before Danny Green, Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington decide whether to enter the draft or return to UNC.
"I'm probably losing some sleep over it, but not because it's a long window," Williams said. "The pre-camp workout is June 2. I'll continue discussions, trying to get information and share it with them."
Players have until June 16 to withdraw their names from the draft.
Williams, who will be inducted in the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame Thursday night, said he will give the players "my opinion," but will not be making the decision on whether they go or stay.
