Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski
GREENSBORO — Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski was talking about retirement, in a generic "I'm not retiring anytime soon" kind of way, at ACC media day on Sunday when the topic of his dark head of hair came up.
When I reminded the 60-year old coach, now in his 28th year at Duke, that people are still waiting for him to go gray, he responded, "I'm going bald so uh ... I am going a little gray [at the temples]. People think I color my hair. I don't color my hair. ... Well, my mom had dark hair. She had it for a long, long time."
